Chandler Fashion Center Embarks on Major Redevelopment to Enhance Dining and Entertainment

Chandler Fashion Center is poised for a significant transformation as it approaches its 25th anniversary.

 

The redevelopment focuses on revitalizing the dining and entertainment district near Harkins Theatres on the property's south side.

 

Plans include introducing a variety of new full-service and fast-casual restaurants, many featuring expanded patios to accommodate all-season dining.

 

Among the anticipated additions is the renowned Taiwanese restaurant Din Tai Fung, celebrated for its handcrafted soup dumplings, slated to open in 2027.

 

Additional dining establishments are expected to be announced in early 2026.

 

Complementing the culinary enhancements, the center will remodel its lower-level lawn and event area to host concerts, family gatherings, and community celebrations.

 

A new interactive splash pad will serve as a daytime play area and transform into an illuminated water feature at night.

 

Shaded seating areas, fire pits, and lush landscaping will create a garden-inspired atmosphere, inviting visitors to relax and connect.

 

Construction is scheduled to begin in January, with efforts made to minimize disruptions to shoppers.

 

The initial phase includes a walking path connecting the east parking lot to Macy's and the new restaurant area.

 

Recent additions to Chandler Fashion Center include retailers such as Scheels, gorjana, TravisMathew, and Vuori.

 

Upcoming openings in early 2026 feature J.Crew Factory and Johnny Rockets.

 

Additionally, Seafood City, a Filipino grocery store with in-house dining options, will join the center, further diversifying its offerings.

 

As Chandler Fashion Center evolves, it continues to solidify its role as a vibrant hub for dining, entertainment, and shopping in the East Valley.
