Chandler Ostrich Festival Finds New Home at Rawhide Western Town

The beloved Chandler Chamber Ostrich Festival is set to spread its wings in 2026, relocating to the expansive Rawhide Western Town and Event Center. This move marks the first venue change in over two decades, aimed at accommodating the festival's continuous growth and enhancing the experience for attendees. 

 

Terri Kimble, president of the Chandler Chamber of Commerce, expressed enthusiasm about the transition, stating, "The Ostrich Festival has become such a beloved and expansive event that it’s ready for a new home." She emphasized that Rawhide offers the necessary space and infrastructure to elevate the festival experience for the community. 

 

The 2026 festival is scheduled over two weekends: March 13-15 and March 20-22. Attendees can look forward to a refreshed layout featuring indoor vendor spaces, permanent restrooms, and running water throughout the grounds. The new venue also provides additional room for attractions, carnival rides, and activities, ensuring a more comfortable and enjoyable experience for all. 

 

Chandler Mayor Kevin Hartke highlighted the festival's significance, noting, "The Ostrich Festival has long been one of Chandler’s most cherished traditions, celebrating our unique history with ostriches." He expressed gratitude to the Chandler Chamber of Commerce and its partners for their commitment to building on the festival’s success while honoring its heritage and family-friendly attractions. 

 

Rawhide Western Town and Event Center is located at 5700 W. North Loop Road, Chandler, AZ 85226.  This strategic move is expected to support the festival's expansion, accommodating increased attendance and providing enhanced amenities for visitors.
