What: Weekly farmers market with local produce, gourmet foods, and artisan goods

 

Where: Dr. A.J. Chandler Park West, 3 S. Arizona Ave, Chandler, AZ 85224

 

When: Every Saturday | 7:00–10:00 AM (summer hours through September)

 

The Downtown Chandler Farmers Market has shifted to summer hours—now opening at 7 AM to beat the heat and wrapping up by 10 AM.

 

What you'll find: Local farm produce, fresh eggs and dairy, artisan breads, small-batch jams and honey, handmade crafts, and ready-to-eat food vendors.

 

Payment: Most vendors take cash and cards. The market is an approved location for WIC and Senior Farmers' Market Nutrition Programs.

 

Kids Day: First Saturday of each month features free activities, games, and live performances from 9 AM–1 PM.

 

Parking: Free street parking around the park and in the downtown Chandler area.

 

Vendor tip: The best produce goes early. If you're after specific items (heirloom tomatoes, fresh peaches), arrive right at 7 AM.

 

Winter return: Hours shift back to 9 AM–1 PM starting in October.

    Didn't even know they accepted WIC and Senior Nutrition benefits here. That's actually really good to know, gonna tell my mom about this. She lives right off Arizona Ave and would love this.

      Totally agree — the market is also an approved site for the Senior Farmers' Market Nutrition Program, so it's a great resource for a wide range of shoppers in the community.

    That tip about getting there right at 7 is so true. I showed up at 8:30 last week and the heirloom tomatoes were already gone. Never again!

      Sandy K.Ha, learned that lesson the hard way too. Now I show up at like 6:55 and wait by the entrance. The peach vendor sells out fast too, just a heads up!
