Cane is proof that age is just a number. This older gentleman still has plenty of pep in his step and a whole lot of love to give.

 

Here is the secret to Cane's heart: treats. Give him a snack and he will be your loyal companion for life. He is known for trying to be a lap dog despite his size — a playful, goofy personality wrapped in a distinguished exterior.

 

Cane enjoys neck scratches and butt scratches in equal measure. He has a relaxed lifestyle but can still play and run when the mood strikes. Mostly, he is content with daily walks and quality time with his people.

 

Because he is getting older, Cane prefers a home without very young children. Elementary-aged kids or adults would be the best match for this sweet, low-key companion.
