Drivers in Chandler should brace for overnight I-10 lane closures beginning Monday, February 16, as the Arizona Department of Transportation rolls out new maintenance work.

 

Both eastbound and westbound lanes will be restricted nightly between State Route 387 and Pinal Avenue/SR 187, with some sections reduced to a single lane.

 

On the eastbound side, mileposts 183-184 will see closures from 8 p.m. Monday until 5 a.m. Tuesday.

 

For westbound traffic, expect single-lane restrictions near mileposts 185-183 each night through Saturday morning, February 20.

 

Additional westbound work at the Gila River Bridge is set from 9 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday nights, wrapping up by 5 a.m. the following mornings.

 

The overnight closures could significantly delay early-morning commuters and long-haul drivers connecting the Phoenix metro area with Pinal County.

 

ADOT urges motorists to check real-time updates and drive carefully.
